Your dream job becomes reality.

Published by Man at 12:00 am under All Work and no Play

Everyone has a dream job that they want. I want to be a mechanical engineer, working at my very own company. We’re all allowed to dream, but the question is… When do I decide to take that dream and make it a reality. When do I take hold of those loose and chaotic reins and steer that mechanical horse in the direction that I want to go through. Action is necessary, but more than action it is the determination that you WILL find that dream job.

Having said that, once you have such a resolve that is beyond contestation, your next task at hand is to find that job you want so much:

  1. Take out a pen and paper.
  2. Determine which job you want. List every single aspect of it in profound detail (what salary, what work environment, what boss, what coworkers, what location, everything)
  3. Brainstorm a list of companies that offer that job with those details you just listed.
  4. Visit, in person, every single one of those companies with resume in hand.
  5. Ask if they, by any chance, have that job position opened, if they are hiring, and that you are the most appropriate man for the job.
    • Some will say no. No matter, leave you resume anyway.
    • Some will say yes, and give you an interview, or ask for a resume (good thing you brought it along huh?).

Now, you know what to do from here right? If not wait for my next post, where I will let you in on how to handle a job interview.

Great approach on handling your life….
Some people never sit down and state whate do they want in their lifes… they feel like if they´re lost, but in fact they are nowhere because they don´t have anyplace to go.
    keep it on!
